I try to get as close as I can to a sense of intimacy, the figures are painted from my imagination without pre planning.

I try to really focus on the most exquisite nature of touch , dig deep into my heart and reservoir of delicious memories…but life’s dramas intercepts the process, it comes through in the drawing. Reality.

We are all flailing around in our efforts to touch or not touch each other .

If they look a bit like you they could be you. We are wired for connection.

I work in series. The first series can currently be seen at The Lido Stores Margate.

These are high fired porcelain and have a molten softness to them that fits the amour.  All are for sale.
