ODD

I invited Artists to exhibit with me @onegatefield in Faversham this February 2025 for a themed show ODD.
Dr Sarah Lightman, Pam Caney, Holly Chadd and Gemma Lovell . 
I made some totem pieces which were a response to the Gisele Pelicot case of violence against women made passive by men. I wanted to make protecting masts that might ward off evil and chose signs and symbols from different cultures.
The mast itself symbolic of standing up from a flattened position piece by piece to make a totem structure. There was a homage to my resilience and courage through making and assembling this work.
